Tanqueray Rangpur Gin & Tonic

Days are very sunny here in my lovely home town of Ghent, Belgium, and what better way to celebrate than with a great Gin & Tonic! Today I’ve selected the refreshing Tanqueray Rangpur Gin. Very citrussy thanks to the Rangpur limes included in the spirit. The perfect G&T for the warmer days. Enjoy!

What do you need for the perfect Tanqueray Rangpur Gin & Tonic

–     A balloon glass, filled with ice (2/3)
–     5 cL Tanqueray Rangpur Gin (1.7 oz)
–     Lemon zest
–     Grapefruit zest
–     Goldberg Tonic Water

The Geranium Gin & Tonic Recipe

Take a large balloon glass and fill it up with ice (use a lot, about 2/3 of the glass). Stir the ice inside the glass to let it cool. Remove any excess water, you can use a cocktail strainer for this. Add the lemon and grapefruit zest. Before you add the zest, make sure you twist it above the glass. By doing this, essential oils from the lemon and grapefruit will be more pronounced in your gin and tonic. Add about 100 –  125 ml of Goldberg tonic water. Try doing this at the edge of your glass, but you can also use a bar spoon for this. Just try to keep the bubbles of your tonic in stead of pouring in the tonic all at once and lose any sparkling sensation while drinking your GT. Serve with pride!
