The floral, Danish Gin & Tonic
Today we’ve got something very special for you: our very own classic Geranium Gin & Tonic Recipe. Want to pour those Monday Blues away? Than this is your drink! Our signature Geranium Gin & Tonic enhances its floral characteristics, but that classic London Dry feeling is not lost. A great combination that I suspect will make even more people addicted to G&T’s. Enjoy!
What do you need for the perfect Geranium Gin & Tonic
– A balloon glass, filled with ice (2/3)
– 5 cL Geranium Gin (1.7 oz)
– Three to four dried Hibiscus leaves
– Juniper berries
– Thomas Henry Tonic Water
The Geranium Gin & Tonic Recipe
Take a large balloon glass and fill it up with ice (use a lot, about 2/3 of the glass). Stir the ice inside the glass to let it cool. Remove any excess water, you can use a cocktail strainer for this. Add the hibiscus together with some juniper berries. Before you add the berries, make sure you crush them a bit between your fingers. By doing this, it will add more flavour to your gin and tonic. Add about 100 – 125 ml of Thomas Henry tonic water. Try doing this at the edge of your glass, but you can also use a bar spoon for this. Just try to keep the bubbles of your tonic in stead of pouring in the tonic all at once and lose any sparkling sensation while drinking your GT. Serve with pride!
